Silhouette Cameo Raffle

Have you been wanting a Cameo, but just cannot afford it? Do you know someone else that would love a Cameo? Here is your chance to get in on this Silhouette Cameo Raffle!!

A little of why I chose to do it in a raffle form. I've seen many companies doing a "Cameo giveaway" if you spend x amount of dollars in their store, or on their website, etc. I thought about doing it the same way, but figured that if I chose to do it that way not everyone would have a chance to win, because those that do not have a cutting machine are not going to make a purchase through my store. So, after long thought I figured a raffle format would be best suitable for everyone and far cheaper for everyone as well. I also chose to only sell 80 tickets, as it will give everyone better odds of winning; instead of competing with 200 people that have placed an order through a particular company.

This is not for a charity or a fundraiser - it is the same as if I were to say "If you spend $20 in my store, you'll be entered to win a Cameo". I've had many questions asking if this was a charity or fundraiser, and I just wanted to make it clear that it is not. I'm not looking to make profit off of this at all, and again - it truly is no different than the other companies that have stated to shop in their store, spend this much money, and then you'll be entered. This raffle is far cheaper, better odds, and gives everyone a chance to win!

With each ticket you will be emailed your ticket number (to the payment email) along with a photo of your ticket, which has your name on it. For the drawing - I will be doing the drawing via video. I will be placing all raffle tickets into a bucket and/or coffee can and one of my boys will pull the winner. It will be done the old school way, no random.org winner or any of that with this drawing. I will be videoing each detail of the drawing for everyone to see, and it will be placed on my blog and on my fan page.

So, here are the details.

Tickets are only $5 each - Max of 5 per person.
If you want to purchase more than one, you'll have to go through the check out that many times. Unfortunately, the shopping cart I use does not allow a qty amount to be put in. I apologize for that!

Only 80 tickets will be sold.

You can purchase tickets HERE

Drawing will be held December 15, 2012
(sooner if all tickets are sold out before then)

I wish everyone lots of luck in this drawing!! I hope to be able to sell all 80 tickets soon, so that I'll be able to do the drawing sooner.

What Are You Thankful For???

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

I hope you all enjoy your day with family and friends today! Let's all be thankful for all the things we have, and not the things we don't have. Let's also remember those that are not sharing this special day with their loved ones that are gone for one reason or another. From my home to yours, we're wishing you all have very Happy Thanksgiving! And, with that said, today I am sharing what I am most thankful for!

My two boys!! If it weren't for them - I'm not sure where my life would be. They are my inspiration, my strength, and my motivation. They may drive me bonkers at times, but I wouldn't change that for the world. These boys are my absolute world!!

Here are two layouts I did for each of them - Titled "My Letter to You"
Tomorrow is NEVER promised to us, and for me, I want my boys to know what I'm thinking, how I feel, and how much I love and care about them, as well as my dreams and aspirations for them. Although I have not written their letter yet, it will be done very soon. And, even though my boys know how much they are loved and cared for and my dreams for them, I wanted something for them, in writing, that they could go back and read for many years to come!

So, here are my two layouts.

This is my oldest (he's little in these photos - he's now 14)

My Youngest ( he's now almost 13)

Ingredients:
Patterned Paper: Authentique
Cardstock: Bazzill and Coredinations
SVG: Scraptastical Kreations (arrows and flourishes)
Stamps - Unity Stamp Co.

I hope you all enjoy your day, and I thank you for stopping by to take a peek at my projects today. As always, I hope you've found some form of inspiration from me today.

Reindeer Poop, Anyone?

I have another project to share with all of you today!
I've been in my happy place just playing with paper. I {LOVE} playing with paper!! Especially during difficult times, as it takes me away from the everyday worries of all that is going on and is my true therapy.

Anyhoo.... I seen a fellow scrappin' sister post a "Give Thanks" sour cream container in the Jaded Blossom Facebook Group, and it inspired me to create one of my own. So, here is this super cute and super easy sour cream container filled with Whoppers for the "Reindeer Poop".

For the paper - I used the reindeer head from the Jaded Blossom - Reindeer Magic set and stamped it all over my cardstock and colored in just the noses of the reindeer.

For the container - cut a piece of cardstock 4.25 x 5.5. Once you get your piece cut, in the middle of your piece use your circle punch to punch to peek hole. The, you'll want to put adhesive along the two short edges and along the one long edge. Be sure to only add adhesive to the 3 sides and not all 4 sides. Fold over the two small ends and adhere just the edge of one side to the other. You want it to over lap just enough to adhere together. Adhere the bottom together - leave the top open to put in your goodies. Once you have put in your goodies, seal the top. To crinkle the bottom, most people use a paper crimper. Well, I do not own one, so I had to improvise. I grabbed my scoring board and lined up the bottom of the container, where it just starts to pop out, and scored three lines to give the impression of the crinkle.

For the tag -  I stamped the saying on plain Kraft cardstock and cut it out (no specific size), rounded the corners, and then cut the same out of red cardstock, just a bit bigger with rounded corners, and then adhered them together. I punched the hole with a regular hole punch and then put through my Divine Twine and wrapped it around the top of the container.

Easy Peasy and SO cute!

Here is the stamp set I used on this one - Jaded Blossom stamp set - Reindeer Magic

Thank you all for taking a peek at my project today. As always, I hope I have inspired in your some crafty way!

Happy Tuesday, Friends.

Today I am sharing this super cute card "Flying by to say Hi!" card with all of you.
I have had this card done for quite some time, but I had to change SD cards during football time and it never got uploaded. Eek! So, here it is.

Ingredients
SVG - Scraptastical Kreations (Plane and Tag)
Paper: Kraft Cardstock, Recollections cardstock & patterned paper
Trendy Twine
I used the print and cut feature in the Silhouette software to print the sentiment on the tag.

Reindeer Food

I was SO excited to get my Jaded Blossom stamps today! I have SO many ideas for this stamp set, and I cannot wait to share them with all of you!

So, with that said -- my first project I want to share with all of you is this super fun and super cute ornament. My boys are both too old for the "Reindeer Food" tradition, but they LOVED going out and sprinkling it on the lawn for Rudolph and his crew to find. I thought it would be really cute to make this tradition into an ornament for them to hang on the tree this Christmas instead.

Here is my ornament

Here is a closer up photo as well

(I apologize for the glare - no matter what I did... it was there. I didn't even use a flash, lol)

I just mixed the oatmeal and glitter together and used a funnel to put it inside the ornament. I purchased the ornament from Jo-Ann's and it's a plastic ornament, not glass. I measured the stamp to make sure the exact size to but my SVG tag, and then I stamped the poem on the tag. Once I did that, I  then  wrapped the tag around a pencil and slid the pencil inside the ornament and shook the tag off. I used some long tweezers to get the tag positioned and unfolded. Note: Add your tag to the inside of the ornament before you add the reindeer food - makes it much easier that way.

Ingredients:
Paper - Echo Park Merry Christmas
Stamps - Jaded Blossom - Reindeer Magic
SVG - Scraptastical Kreations - Label It, Tag It, Frame It
Divine Twine - Holiday

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my ornament today. I hope I have inspired you to create a fun ornament for your tree this Christmas.

Snowman Poop

We'll be giving thanks this week with our families, but you all know what that means too - Christmas is RIGHT around the corner!  So, I have been getting crafty and making some fun handmade little gifts to give to family and friends. Today I want to share a Pinterest inspired project that is super cute, fun and so simple - Snowman poop!

Here is what you'll need

1) Scoring board
2) Bone folder
3) 1/2 inch circle punch
4) Corner rounder punch
5) Score tape (any tape will do)
6) Your choice of Patterned paper
7) Your choice of ribbon
8) Box of Tic Tacs

First, you will want to cut a piece of patterned paper and/or cardstock to - 4.75 in long by 2 in wide
You will then score at 2 in and 2.75 inches. Round the edges (if you choose to) with your corner rounder punch. The, you'll want to adhere your ribbon to the inside using your preferred choice of double sided tape. To punch the circle out, I just judged by the label on the container. I didn't want it to be too high up so the label could be see, so mine is about an 1/8 of an inch from the bottom edge of the paper. Lastly, place the tic tac container inside and tie your ribbon. Viola - simple, easy and SO cute!

Here is what it looks like all finished

Ingredients
Paper: Making Memories
Sentiment - Print & Cut feature in the Silhouette Software
Misc - Ribbon and Pearl

Thanks for taking a peek at my creation today. I hope to have inspired you all to create some fun and simple handmade goodies this holiday season. Be sure to check back for more fun handmade Christmas goodies.

CUTE Candle Boxes and Sanitizer Holders

Happy Saturday morning to all of you!!

How many of you are ready for Thanksgiving? I know I sure am, and as sad as it sounds, and I'm not trying to push the the Thankful Turkey out of the way, but I'm ready to put of some Christmas decor! This year has flown by entirely too fast. I guess it's true, the older you get the faster it goes.

So, today I wanted to share with all you these super cute mini candle boxes and hand sanitizer holders. The mini candle boxes  are a perfect fit for the mini Bath and Body Works candles. Such a great idea to give as a small grab bag gift, or just add it to another bigger gift this holiday season.

And, these sanitizer holders are another perfect small gift for the office or family, and better yet - the teachers and students. These give that perfect added touch to the drab outside bottle.

There are three different sizes in this set. The smallest size fits the Bath and Body Works bottle, the middle size fits the Purell bottle, and the larger size fits the larger mini Dial bottle. They can be jazzed up any way your heart desires.

You can find both of these Cutting Files at Scraptastical Kreations

Hope you have been inspired by a bit of Christmas Cheer today. : )
