GDT I {Heart} Ippity

Good Morning Everyone!

I wanted to share with all of you my first card as a Guest Designer for Heather Flaherty and her I {Heart} Ippity by Unity line. I'm SO excited to be apart of such an amazing and talented team. And, not to mention her stamps are FABULOUS!!! I LOVE them!

For this card I used up some of my scraps, which is always nice to do since I have TONS! I'm such a paper hoarder and it's SO hard for me to throw any paper away! I stamped the leaves on some patterned paper from the Target $1 bin. I love, love, love those bins. The paper is very thin, but it's perfect for stamping on and cutting around. I also used some Kraft Cardstock from Recollections and stamped my sentiment on there, and ran some misc twill (I've had it for years!) through the middle and frayed the edge of it. I really dig these colors together!  Be sure you head on over to the I {Heart} Ippity blog and check out all the AMAZING cards posted everyday!

I hope you've enjoyed my card today and that I have inspired you in some way today!

Cameo Creations Challenge: Color Challenge

Happy Thursday Scrappy Crafty friends!!

Today I am sharing with you all the Cameo Creations Challenge #8 - This week's challenge is a color challenge! How fun, right? The colors to be used are; coral, yellow, and green! I have to say - I had a hard time with these colors, although they are fabulous together, I didn't seem to have many of these colors in my stash aside from green. So, that made it a bit difficult for me to be creative with this one!

This week's sponsor is the amazing Bugaboo Stamps.

Here is a little bit about Bugaboo stamps -- As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago, and today Bugaboo stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images and they're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create you paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide new releases and freebies every week! If you taste runs to rubber (and you know you who you are) you can find Bugaboo stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And Finally, join in the Bubaboo Staps DT weekly challenges over at Catch the Bug.

Their images are so stinkin' cute!! Who wouldn't love to win some of their images to play with? I know I would!! All you have to do to win is create a card with the color pallete - coral, yellow, and green and link your project up over at Monica's Creative Madness blog

So, let's take a peek at my card!

For this card I used my Cameo and Silhouette software to print and cut. I also colored my image within the software as well. I LOVE that the Silhouette software has so much versatility and had so many functions.

Card Recipe
Core'dinations Cardstock
White Gel Pen
Scrap patterned paper

Don't forget to head over to Monica's blog to link up your card! We can't wait to see all the entries! Thank you so much for stopping by today to check out my card and the challenge! I hope I have inspired you in some way today. : )

SK Design Team Projects

Good Morning Scrappy Crafty Friends

Today I wanted to share some of the work of my ever so talented design team. They're awesome and their work is too!! I adore each and every one of my girls! They are truly fabulous and no matter what, we're all there for each other! It's really like a big happy family of sisters!

Each week you can look forward to seeing a new creation by one of my design team members or myself, which we hope will inspire you in some way. All paper piecing patterns and/or svg files are from Scraptastical Kreations. If you haven't checked out the store yet, you should!

Here is a layout that DT Jennifer created to share with everyone.

For this layout, Jennifer used a couple different Scraptastical Kreations paper piecing patterns.
She used the "Bedtime Story" set and the "Monsters R Us" set.

And, here is a layout that DT Nancy wanted to share.

Nancy used the Scraptastical Kreations "Nuts & Bolts About You" pattern set. This set is SO very versatile and can be used in so many ways; on your cards, layouts, or even used for some vinyl projects!

Truly, SK patterns/svg's are SO versatile that you can mix, match, and rearrange each different set to work with whatever specific project you're working on.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and take a peek at their work. I hope they have inspired you in some way today!

Scraptastical Kreations - Scraplift This Callenge

Hello Scrappy Crafty Friends

Each week over on the Scraptastical Kreations Facebook Fan page and in our SK group we have a weekly scraplift this challenge. I've been very bad about posting the challenge to my blog for other's to participate in too, but I am going to try being more disciplined on getting them posted.

How this challenge works is; you can take this and use it like a sketch - flip it, switch it, or rotate it. Or, you can take certain elements from the project you would like to use in your own project. It's super fun and super simple! The only REQUIREMENT is that is MUST have an SK pattern or SVG on it somewhere, which if you are not familiar with the SK patterns or SVG's you can visit the website HERE

GOODIES - The winner will receive a GC to shop in the Scraptastical Kreations store

To post your entries please visit HERE, the Scraptastical Kreations fanpage on Facebook. Or, you can add it to Mr. Linky at the bottom of the page.

So, now on to this week's Scraplift Challenge. This is a layout I created, as I am determined to get some of my own scrapping done every week (ha ha, wishful thinking?)

Aside from a SK pattern or svg being on your scraplift, for this challenge you must make it a personal layout. Hence my self -challenge to get more of my own scrapping done! Thank you all for playing along with us!

As Always - Gettin' Scrappy with It,

Kristy
