A Challenge and Fun Stuff!!

Happy Tuesday, Everyone.

First, off the SK Girls have decided to start doing a monthly challenge. Each month that challenge will be posted here on the blog. You will be able to enter by posting your challenge to the Scraptastical Kreations Facebook Fan page. We will be using a linking option in the next challenge, so that those that do not go the Facebook route are able to join in as well. One winner will win a $20 GC to Scraptastical Kreations store. The winner will be chosen by our design team, and will be posted here on the blog, as well as on the fan page.

So, our first challenge this month is to create a 3D Halloween project. The 3 requirements - it has to be 3D, it must be Halloween, and it must contain at least 1 Scraptastical Kreations SVG/Paper Piecing on it.

Be sure to check out the other fun stuff and some news at the end of this post as well.

Here are the DT projects for this month's challenge.

Now, on to some other fun stuff.

Secondly, over on the SK fan page, we will be choosing one winner, every two weeks, for being our top fan. How can you do this? Just comment and share your work on the fan page. It's that easy! The one fan with the most activity within the 2 week period, will win a $20 GC to the store, Scraptastical Kreations. We hope to see lots of you over there having fun with us!

And, last but not least, we at SK would like to help out our DT Sister Tonya and her brother John.

As you may have seen, out very own Tonya is asking for help in her brother's fight for his life against his battle with cancer. One of Scraptastical Kreations's fan, Pam Reh, has generously purchased a $25 SK GC, which will be given to one winner. How do you enter to win? Please help in this fight and make a donation of your own. For each $5 you donate you will receive one entry. For each $25 dollars you donate, you will receive 6 entires. Any amount you can afford will help John and his family greatly.

To learn more about John and follow his fight you can read his story here:

To make a donation please go here:

When you put good things forward, good things will come back to you. We all thank each and everyone of you that are able to help in the smallest or the biggest way, and we thank you all for your generosity!

Anything you're able to help with would be amazing. There is no amount too little. Everything helps!

I hope everyone has a fabulous day!

  1. Wow, Kristy...congratulations on your new challenges! Can't wait for the day that I can work with SVGs!
I added your challenges to the Crafting Blog Events group in FB @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/237551266366875/.

  2. Would love to participate in the challenge BUT I'm not a big a fan of 3-D...for one thing we don't decorate that much around here, and secondly, we don't have the space!!!! I will keep an eye out for the challenges that does not involve 3-D projects....

I'm more into cards and scrapbook pages...will you be having themes along this in challenges in the future?

    Thank you.

  3. Thank you so much, Jessica!! I appreciate you sharing the challenge! G-ma - we will def be having challenges along the lines of layouts and cards. We will be doing all sorts of different challenges each month. We actually have a fun layout challenge going on right now, and that is to use the freebie, which you can find here - http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/category_6/Freebie.htm -- just create a layout using it and post it to the FB fan page, or you can post a link to your blog or gallery on the post below this one.
