My Memories Suite Review AND GIVEAWAY!!!

About a week ago, right before I got sick, I was asked by My Memories Suite to review their software. I was so super excited that I could barely stand it! However, just shortly after I received that email I got sick and have been under since, but I am feeling up to getting this posted today. Finally!!!

So.... I would like to start off by saying that I will be giving away ONE copy of the full version of My Memories Suite to ONE lucky winner!! Wouldn't you all just LOVE to win a copy of this software?? If you're not sure about it you can check on their website HERE. You can also check out their Facebook Fan page HERE

Now, I'm sure you want to know just HOW you can win, right?? Here it goes..... I am at 500 followers right now, and as soon as I hit 600 I will draw the winner for this AMAZING software!! Also, you will need to head on over to My Memories Suite fan page by clicking HERE and write on their wall that Scraptastical Kreations sent you! Go over and take a peek at their website by clicking HERE and let me know what your favorite kit is they have on their website!! Be sure to leave a comment here with your favorite kit, as I will be drawing the winner from ALL comments left on THIS post!!

So, let's go ahead and take a look at some digital layouts I created.

Here is the first layout.

Here is the second layout I created.

And, last but not least, here is my third layout I created using the My Memories Suite software.
For this one I used one of my titles that you can find here at Scraptastical Kreations

For each of these digi layouts that I created, I used free kits that I've had for some time that were found among the internet. I mixed and mingled a variety of different elements and papers, etc from different kits also.

On to the review. I totally LOVE this software. Seriously!! I'm NOT the digi scrapper by any means, and I've only started dabbling in it a few months ago, but I'm totally hooked now that I have the RIGHT digital scrapbooking software to use.

This software is so very user friendly. That is the first thing I look at when using a new program, and I have to say this is suitable for the total techie "dummy". There are so many freebies for you to choose from, as well as many, many great kits on the My Memories Suite website. If you are looking to try your hand at digi scrapping, this is the software for you!! You will not be disappointed what so ever. If I can do it, so can you!!!

Don't forget to leave a comment below with your favorite My Memories Suite kit, SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this blog with all of your friends (the faster we reach 600 followers, the faster I can do the giveaway!!) And... don't forget to stop by and tell My Memories Suite that Scraptastical Kreations sent you! CLICK HERE to get to their fan page.

Now on to my project that I created to share with you all today. So again, this is a "What I Love About Halloween/Fall" blog hop, so one of the things I love is my nephew! AND, my nephew (and my brother) was born on Halloween. So........ I made him a birthday card! It is SO hard to find birthday themed Halloween cards, which only leaves me to make his birthday cards most of the time. I really had to make it this year because he turns 18, and that's quite scary!! Like the card says "It sure is spooky that you're 18! Happy Birthday" - It truly is spooky because he has grown into a great young man SO quickly! How time flies!!

For this card I used some old stray Halloween scraps I had around. I really like using up my scraps for cards. They're perfect for them! I also used the Scraptastical Kreations "A Haunted Halloween" set for the moon, ghost, and bats. I also used the "Sophisticated Scallops" set for the circle tag as well.

Just for you blog hoppers, Scraptastical Kreations is having a two day sale just for you all!! How fun is that, right?!?! If you make a purchase of $25.00 or more on Friday October 7th or Saturday October 8th, you will get 60% off your entire purchase!! You cannot beat that!! You can click HERE to get the the website to start shopping. There have been some great new title sets added, as well as some other great sets too. You will need to use coupon code HBLOGHOP in order to receive your discount.

NOW... on to the blog candy!
One winner will receive the "A Haunted Halloween" set that I used in this layout.

Now on the my project that I created to share with you all today. So, this is a "What I Love About Halloween" blog hop, so one of the things I absolutely LOVE about Halloween is getting to see my two boys dressed up in their costumes. I'm not much of a decorator for the holiday's, so it's no different with Halloween. I know so many people that truly love Halloween to just decorate, well I just LOVE to see my boys dressed up! With that said, I created this layout of them dressed up a few (ok a little more then a few) years ago. My oldest was a ghoulish monster and my youngest was a convict. I think he was the cutest convict around! : )

On this layout I used the new DCWV Halloween stack that I TOTALLY love!! I distressed the edges to give it a creepy Halloween feel to it. I also used the Scraptastical Kreations "A Haunted Halloween" set for the moon, ghost, and bats. I also used the "Sophisticated Scallops" set for the journaling box as well.

Just for you blog hoppers, Scraptastical Kreations is having a two day sale just for you all!! How fun is that, right?!?! New Scrappy Space & Some Winners!!!

So, about a month ago I finished up my new and improved scrappy space. With the help of my awesome Mom and Dad!! Without them  my scrappy space would not have been possible!! A big, huge thanks to them!!

First, though, I want to share again with you the before pictures.

Now that you've seen the before photos, let's go ahead and look at the after photos.

This is an overall look at my scrappy corner.

Here is the right side of my corner.

Here is the left side of my scrappy corner.

Here is a close up of my $2.00 shelf revamped, and my ribbon holder.
The shelf holds my flowers, buttons, and other little stuff in the baskets.

Here is my middle shelf. We wound up painting it white. If you remember, it was a tanish color in the older photos. This was also one of my amazing $5.00 bargains too. I have also rearranged this some since these photos were taken, but at least you get the gist of it all.

Here is my set of three shelves. The top shelf holds all my books, started but not finished layouts, etc.
I love these 3 shelves!! And, they were also another bargain!! For all three of them, $5 bucks!

Here is where I keep all my alphabets, chipboard, brads, eyelets, and other small embellies. I've had these for quite some time, but I decided to go ahead and paint them black so it would all match. The ugly gray didn't cut it for me. : )

So there you go! My new and improved scrappy corner. I totally love it, and although I have changed a few things around, it's still awesome!! Thanks for taking a peek at my new scrappy space!!

Tacky Tuesday's Challenge Guest Designer

This month I have the honor of being a guest designer for the Tacky Tuesday's Challenge. This month's challenge is to use an owl cut and the word "hoo" on a card. You can use a Cricut cart or an a svg cutting file, as long as it's and owl it will work! I have to say, this was so much fun for me, and I had so much fun making my card as well.

You can stop by Ruthie's blog HERE to see all the guest designers this month for Tacky Tuesday's Challenge.

Here is my card
"Happy Hoo-lidays"

For this card I used some older (like 3 years old, lol) CTMH patterned paper. The owl is from my website, Scraptastical Kreations, which you can head on over to by clicking HERE and pick up the owl cut freebie. I also used the new Garden Splendor set for the flower and the leaves, and the Calendar Cuties set for the Santa hat. You can use the owl freebie to enter the Tacky Tuesday's challenge over on Facebook. Just click HERE to get to the Tacky Tuesday's Challenge group on Facebook.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card, and don't forget to come on over and enter your card today! : )
