Now, on to my project for today. I created this cute but simple banner. This is my first ever banner, and I have to say, I'm pretty darn proud of it! It is simple - nothing extravagant, but I'm a very contemporary/modern/simple styled person when it comes to my home decor, so this fits RIGHT in!

So here it is!! The paper has a nice shimmer to it, which you really can't see in this photo, but I really love the subtle Christmas colors in this paper. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure which company this paper is from. If you'd like to know - be sure to ask in a comment and I'd be happy to let you know.

Ok... so here it really is! : ) I apologize for the photo. I wasn't able to get a great shot because I waited until the sun went down (before 5 pm) and wasn't able to get good lighting after dark. For the banner I used the Scraptastical Kreations Banner Blitz paper piecing pattern set/ cutting file

NOW... I'm sure you allllll want some yummy blog candy, right?!?!
Well... here it is. One winner will receive the Banner Blitz file from Scraptastical Kreations! This is an awesome file, and you can do SO many things with it!

To be eligible for the blog candy - Please do the following
1) Leave a comment on this post and tell me what is your favorite Christmas song!
2) Become a follower of my blog ( I have a giveaway going on too that you might want to check out)

That's it... easy peasy.

Now head on over to Lori's blog to see what awesome Christmas decor project she has to share with all of you. : )

Don't forget to "Get Scrappy With It!!"
Happy Scrappin,
Kristy

  8. I bet this banner is wonderful in person, it is such a shame to put all that hardwork into a beautiful project and then not be able to get a good shot. I hate when this happens to me. But truly it is stunning!
